From the moment I stepped into the foyer, I was captivated by the stunning Victorian-era décor. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is remarkable, creating an atmosphere of elegance and charm. The room itself was beautifully designed, with luxurious furnishings and a warm, inviting feel. The bathrooms were equally impressive, featuring spacious layouts and amazing spa baths—perfect for unwinding after a long day. Another highlight was the shared balcony, offering a lovely place to relax and take in the surroundings. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious stay.

Fantastic location. Unique, historical decor. As a historian myself, I enjoyed the theming and the old style charm. The restaurant was great too!

The sheer history of the town is a marvellous but that the owners have gone to the extent to ensure the building remains as historic and true to its original form as they can is brilliant!
