Nice balcony with a view, very good breakfast, charming common halls/rooms in the hotel's lobby area, friendly and helpful staff

Very friendly staff and extremely charming place with a view to die for! For me, this is one of those places that are a bit outdated (with clean but basic rooms, abysmal beds and paper walls) and can hardly compete with big hotel chains but overall, it felt like a charming, personal B & B instead of a hotel and that is what makes it so memorable and special!

although the building is old, it's well maintained and super clean. breakfast is delightful, particularly with great fjord view.
