The property is well located in Bakewell, this is the second time we have stayed here. Whilst parking can be tricky in the town this time of year due to Christmas markets, ypu can park outside the property until 8.30 am on the streeet and then move the car to the agricultural centre for all day parking, which is a short 5 min walk back from the car to the pub. Very easy. Check in is flexible and easy given it’s a pub, we checked in around 8.30pm and no problems at all. The rooms are very comfy and immaculately presented. The facilities are exceptional. Tea and coffee and even fruit juice in single serving sachets lime coffee. They’ve though of everything! Whilst they don’t provide breakfast service, there is a little box in the room with instant porridge, a cereal bar and a fruit juice carton. Very thoughtful and totally unexpected, as we were not expecting to have breakfast The bedding is so comfy, with one of the comfiest mattresses I’ve ever slept on!! Shower was powerful and toiletries provided too in case of forgetting anything. It was immaculate, well thought out and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again!
