Hi Gippsland Lakes Escapes Thank you very much We did have a fine trip overall The property was in good location But there is a few other issue beside that advantage The house smells very bad when we checked in ( smell of left over foods and rubbish bin) also from the house itself. We do understand that the place is a piece of history so a common smell of mold, old house add up . We need to open all doors and windows until late night to get rid of the smell. Grass was half knee- high ( more higher at the back and all the ladies was complaining when they do the laundry haha). Kids cant do much outdoor. Water in the front bathroom (ensuite) also in the laundry when check in. We got a kid slip and fall right when we came in Lacking of lights ( lounge room was dark, hall way lights and 2nd bedroom wasnt functioning properly) Kitchen rear door ( Green door to the right side verandah) was dead locked. Quite annoying for us to do a fair bit of a walk all the way around the back/ front door 2 bed room door handles ( the room with the bunk bed and the last room next to the kitchen) Also the bathroom door handle at the end of the house wasn't working properly 1 of our kid got locked up inside the bathroom on 26th midnight. Crying and panicking The Bin was full all the way to the top when we arrived We spent more than an hour driving around seeking for public bins and trying to sort the rubbish out. Got a few locals came up to us ,complaining and said rude words We tried to ring the office asking for a solution to open the green kitchen door and how to sort out the rubbish. No one reply. Sent a text and also a message in the Booking apps chat. No one reply Overall.
