The room is huge, well equipped with everything that you need for your stay. The staff was helpful, the breakfast was good. The location is perfect to slow down and appreciate nature.

We arrived and were told by Tania that we'd been upgraded. What a surprise. It was perfect, right on the breathtaking river, with so many facilities to enjoy. I thoroughly recommend this place, I can't imagine it getting any better than this.

Our stay at Douro Suites was unforgettable! This hotel is a slice of paradise. From the warm welcome to the breathtaking views of the Douro River, everything was perfect. The suite was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and had all the amenities we needed. The staff’s exceptional service made our experience even better. The property is situated in a stunning area of the Douro Valley, perfect for a very quiet getaway. The rooms of hotel are probably the best I’ve every stayed in and the staff are incredible, very attentive and went massively out of their way to make us comfortable, including driving us to the train station on request and also picking up food from a local restaurant as we didn’t have a car. The breakfast was very good.

The breakfast was delicious, and a great variety! The grounds, garden and setting with a view of the Douro River was spectacular. The staff were super friendly and efficient, and made us feel right at home. Karla deserves a special mention, and thank you to each one of course!

Great accommodation with magnificent views over the Douro River Valley. The well equipped suites are set in an impressive terraced garden with both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. There are various water based activities available. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Our suite had a terrace balcony which was a real bonus.
