Good location, very friendly staff, helpful and trustworthy, breakfast was. Ample. Towels were high quality Egyptian cotton usually seen in 5 star hotels.

Breakfast staff were attentive, they cooked vegan food every morning Room was nice, with balcony, receptionist were friendly. Generally Iraqi people were very kind to foreigners.

Breakfast very good. Tea and water available anytime. Staff friendly and helpful for foreign visitors. I recommend people to choose this hotel for a stay in Baghdad.

There are not many Hotels in Baghdad to book online. But as this is needed for international travelers to get their visa in arrival, I highly recommend this hotel, which us also on booking.com. I am a world traveller (90+ countries) and this is by far the most cozy and soft bed I slept in. The pillow is better than at home! Advantages of this hotel: - Generator is very handy as there are up to five power cuts a day - generator is not noisy or heard inside the rooms - as in many other hotels its just under the window. - area is ... Wow .... 5 meters to the Tigris Corniche, safe for evenings strolls, even alone. In the middle to all tourists Sightseeing such as Rasheed Street, Souq, Mosque, Monument, Tahir Square walking distance! - breakfast so tasty ! - very kind people I forgot my Abaya in the room and they kept it and I got it back a later time. Bathroom is typical, toilet and shower merged somehow. (Toilet gets wet when showering) This is nothing bad, just to keep it in mind when visiting Iraq. Thank you. I would chose this Hotel as a foreigner over all others!

The hotel is located in popular location on Abu Nuwas street which is very busy, so no issues in getting a taxi. The Abu Nuwas area has a lovely public space that comes to light at nigh and on the weekends. The area is also well known for the best place to eat the national dish Masgouf which is fresh barbecued fish which is served at the Baghdadi Restaurant, close to the hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful too.
