It is a modern building, proper hotel and lovely staff. Good value for money and Badulla is an interesting city to explore.

Great hotel in Badulla. Nice and tidy place, and I had one of those single rooms, which is quite spacious. Although did not have a window, didn’t bother me much as I was staying for a night. If staying longer, there are better rooms with windows/balconies worth going for. Staff are very helpful, particularly Travis who went out of the way to help with my early morning departure to catch the train. He speaks fluent English, which is a bonus.

The breakfast was impressive! They offered a variety of options, from local Sri Lankan dishes to continental favorites. The food was fresh and delicious, with something to please every palate. The breakfast area also had a lovely view, making the meal even more enjoyable. The serene environment of Crown Regency hotel made it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality truly enhanced my stay and made me feel welcome. (My Special thank goes to Kanishka, Rishitha, Tharusha, Ashoka and Sujith)

Very clean well presented property, staff were very helpful and friendly. We had great views over the valley to the mountains from our room. Excellent communication from the hotel, they had even organised a hotel car come and collect us from the railway station when we arrived.

The location of the hotel is great, close enough to the city but not in the middle of it to be disturbed. Relatively clean and service staff is good, especially F&B staff. Housekeeping staff needs training, in fact, all staff would benefit from good training in both technical and service skills. The Check in was smooth and assumed the Owner too got involved

Very well maintained, clean rooms. Professional staff, they were able to accommodate my request for a drop to the railway station and an early breakfast because of it. Safe for female solo traveller as I was one myself.
