Extremely clean little motel at "Start"or :"End" of Cabot Trail. Owners have worked very hard to make this a comfortable motel. The bathroom was extremely clean, and the new carpet in the room was also very clean. Beds were comfortable. Kettle, coffee maker ,and toaster were provided, along with cups, wine glasses. Tea, coffee, creamer, and sugar, more than many other hotels. Beautiful view from the bedroom of St. Ann's bay.

What a great location. Even though there was a road nearby it was quiet and the view was spectacular. A joy to wake up to.

Location was fine. At the crossroads of T.C.H. and another major road in Cape Breton.......so no chance of missing the motel or of getting lost.

We enjoyed the 180-degree view of the bay while we ate breakfast at the table in the room. The highway is adjacent the property but the rooms all face the bay so we heard very little road noice.

The Scenic views are exactly as promised. The cabins are very clean and updated and yet still get a nice rustic feel being there. Now I arrived very late in the season, and some things were closed or closing for the season, but they are in a perfect location to see and reach everything the area has to offer. The owners are very friendly and pointed out some wonderful areas for me to see and visit during my stay. 5 stars, in my opinion.

The room was exactly as advertised - had all of the amenities we wanted and was very comfortable. The view was unmatched, beautiful and the setting was very peaceful. Easy check in with personalized service from the owner.

Although the motel is an old building, it was very comfortable inside, with a TV, microwave and fridge. Bed linen and towels were of excellent quality and a new bath/shower unit provided plenty of hot water. Vince was very friendly and helpful.

Vince was great. very friendly and informative. very welcoming and ingaged in conversation with us. the room was very nice. grounds are well kept, the view is awesome.
