Robert “Disappointing customer service but hotel is fine”

We’ve stayed here twice before. It’s a perfectly nice hotel with modern rooms and decor. Roof top pool is available to use as part of your stay (buts it’s very cold). Two things disappointed us this time round. Firstly, we were given a room where the bathroom faced the bed through a clear glass window. Although there was a blind to cover the glass, when the light was on in the bathroom you were given zero privacy. We asked to move rooms and were told there were none available and that all standard rooms had same layout anyway. We know this isn’t true as we had stayed in standard rooms before and they had a solid wall between the bedroom and the bathroom. Also, a quick look on booking.com showed the hotel had plenty of availability so we’re not sure why they couldn’t move us. Secondly, my wife and I had a treatment each in the spa. The pool area and sauna is great and we really enjoyed it but the treatment (back and leg massage) was awful. It genuinely seemed as if the “therapist” had no idea what she was doing. Anyway, decent location for Badalona and not too far from centre of Barcelona by train or tram.

We have been upgraded to large room with great view over the marina. Breakfast was great. Nice reasonably priced for the quality food in the restaurant. All people working in the hotel were kind and helpful. Thank you.

When we arrived the hotel is located right next to the beach which is lovely.The welcome we received from the check in staff and check out staff was wonderful. I remember Carme who guided us on places to visit,was friendly and also helpful us understand abit more about the town. Sergi from the spa are and Lidya were also very helpful. Showed us through to know which areas to use in the spa and how they work.The food at the restaurant was good. What I would have liked/proffered was the food to be hot in temperature as the eggs and bacon were cold. Overall great service, wonderful hotel and I would recommend this hotel .

Close to the beach ideal for sport or walking. Breakfast buffet is perfect, fruits, cakes, cerials, breads, really full.
