Hotel Overview

Located at the entrance to Bad Vigaun, 15 km from Salzburg, Hotel Langwies features a spa area and a bathing pond. Hallein and the A10 motorway are a 5-minute drive away, and a train station is just opposite the hotel. Trains are reaching Salzburg centre within 30 minutes.
Furnished in elegant country-house style, most rooms have a balcony. All rooms have cable TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and bathroom amenities.
The spa area includes 3 types of saunas and a small gym.
Typical Salzburg specialities made from organic ingredients can be enjoyed in the restaurant or on the terrace. You can also taste home-made bacon and other meat products.
A playground and a small farm with pigs, cattle, rabbits, ponies and a donkey are located on site.
Situated amid the Tennengebirge Mountain Range, the Langwies Genussherberge is only a 15-minute drive away from the city of Salzburg. The historic Salt Mine Bad Dürrnberg is 3 km away. The bus and train station are located right across the hotel.

Exceptionally kind and welcoming staff makes this family hotel stand out from the rest. Beautiful modern bedroom, uniquely designed. Superb food, locally sourced from their family farm. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in during our frequent journeys back and forth between England and Greece over the last 30 years. We will be back.

Wonderful family run business, great rooms and facilities and all around family friendly. The food in the restaurant was also exceptional. It was a lucky find and we wished we could have stayed longer!

We loved the host who was so kind and helpful to us. The location was excellent, as the train station is right by the accommodation (1 min away) so it was very easy and convenient to go to Salzburg by train and not worry about the car and parking. We were also provided free train tickets by the hotel which was wonderful. The hotel itself is very cozy and warm and the breakfast was excellent.

Like many others, I wish I could stay longer. This was a place I chose to spend a night on my way from Germany to Ljubljana, but when I saw it, I understood I'd love to spend the weekend. The hotel is peaceful, with big rooms, you see the mountains and cows in the meadow. The breakfast was superb! I totally recommend this place

Wonderful cozy hotel near Salzburg. We were with 3 kids, took a family room and it was very comfortable. Room view is truly amazing! The breakfast and restaurant are excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location makes it super easy to visit Salzburg and enjoy the city. We will definitely come back here;)
