I stayed at the ibis hotel in Baar recently and had a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was very convenient for me since it was just across the train station and I stayed here for business purposes. The check out time is till 12 pm, which is amazing, I was able to get more sleep. I would stay here again.

Very basic and very expensive. Comfortable beds, nice TV and nice location. For the price I expected at least tea/coffee etc, but it was a bed and tv with a bathroom. I know that's what a hotel is, but I just don't think the value matches what you get. Would I stay here again? Only if I have to. Staff were very friendly.

Good breakfast and nice atmosphere on the breakfast room (acting as bar on evening). Best location! All busses and trains - just a few steps. Rooms are quiet and maybe even a bit cold (good for sleeping) - but during summer very hot, no aircondition.

The hotel is right next to the Baar train station, which makes it easy to get to with the train. There is also an underground car park which needs to be paid separately. The room was clean and hot water remains stable when you set it to the level you need. For a business trip, where you only need a bed at night, this hotel is convenient and satisfactory.
