“A comfortable and relaxing stay”

The hotel was tastefully refurbished. I was not aware it was in such a convenient location but yet quiet and away from the traffic along Penang Road. The room was a bit small but cozy and the lovely places to sit around for a cup of coffee were really nice.

The hotel is a very traditional building with lots of character. It will appeal to people looking for a rather "old fashioned" experience rather than a business style modern hotel. It's a little distance from the centre of George Town, but on the free shuttle bus route which is very accessible.

Very pretty colonial style hotel in a great location. Georgetown Heritage area, Chinatown and Little India all within an easy 30 minutes walking distance. Good variety of restaurants and bars around Love Lane. Room was comfortable with air-conditioning and a ceiling fan. It was serviced every day when towels were changed even if requested not to be. Lots of complimentary toiletries. Staff were very helpful, quick to respond to queries and were invariably pleasant and friendly.

What a lovely hotel. It is inside a beautifully renovated old colonial building and was a joy to stay in. It's not in the centre of town but is conveniently close to everything and the free CAT loop bus passes nearby. We loved it.

The staff were delightful. Han gave us great advise on our further travels and later emailed to say we'd left a small bag behind . We were very grateful for his professional and kind care and attention.
