“Great place to stay in Avila”

Excellent value and comfortable place to stay in the heart of the old city. They did not have a special storage area for bicycles, but were happy for me to bring my bike into my bedroom, and they put me on the first floor to minimise cycle carrying :)

I arrived 3 hours before the scheduled check in time and asked in my limited Spanish if I could leave my small bag with reception until I could check in. Typical Spain... 😀 the receptionist went upstairs to check my room, found that it was ready and checked me in 3 hours early - customer service above and beyond. It is just off the square, right in the middle of the old town yet very quiet at night.

The receptionists spoke little English but were helpful as much as they could be. The room was very basic but had all the necessary equipment but do not expect frills

Very welcoming. Clean room. Very close to the castle, so it would be a great place to stop if you were there for a cultural long weekend away. Plenty of bars and restaurants around. Very pretty area.

Great location. Only €5 for our dog. Room was a good size, comfortable and clean. Bonus to have a mini fridge.

Nice place to stay at Ávila. Location is at the city center. We stayed with our dog and payed only 5euro per night.
