The location was excellent right in the old walled city and the man running the two rooms for rent was so very friendly and helpful and supplied the best GF Bread and croissant for my partner who is a coeliac that was had in the entire trip to Europe. He was happy to cook eggs any way at breakfast and it set us up for the day! We could walk with our cases from the train station and then to our cruise boat when we checked out.

Jean Paul provided a wonderful continental breakfast that included the best croissants and bread that he cycled to purchase every morning. The jams were homemade by Jean Paul - delicious! We were given a jar to take away with us, such was our host’s kindness. Jean-Paul suggested three very good restaurants, all within walking distance and recommended wine areas to visit. He was a superb host and contributed much to our enjoyment of Avignon. We loved our stay at Maison Boussingault.

Hotel is cute, tucked away in a quiet part of town. Rooms are simple but nice, shower was very good. Very quiet at night which is always a plus.

Our room on the ground floor was spacious and very comfortable. It was quite and private as well as being safe. The host was very helpful with directions on sightseeing and parking. The apartment is in a perfect location and we enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend without hesitation. The bath was a treat!
