Friendly warm welcome from staff. It's great that it's dog friendly. Loved the use of the sauna. The food was good. The pub/cafe had a great atmosphere. Scenery beautiful.

We absolutely loved our stay in the pods at pine martin bar. The area with the pods was absolutely beautiful with fairy lights and a fire pit. There are 3 pods in the fenced off area which would be perfect for a group. The toilet block and bar are just a short walk away and very clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were given tasters of the beers at dinner so we could decide which one we wanted and they were really chatty with the kids which made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. The site is just a short walk to the beach at Loch morlich beach with is absolutely stunning. We went along in the evening with hot chocolate from the bar to watch the stunning sunset. Can't recommend enough if you are wanting a camping like experience without the hassle if the set up etc. The pods were basic but perfect for our 2 night stay. There are bunk beds and a couch which turns into a bed. There is a kettle, microwave and mini fridge. They also provide bedding and crockery/cutlery, they even have tea, coffee, sugar and milk which I think is a lovely touch.
