Great location just next to 6th street. We rented a whole room with private bathroom, nothing fancy but it was fine for our group. I wouldn't know about the shared areas but they looked tidy and quiet.

I had an amazing experience at the firehouse hostel ! the location is really good, and there were super cool activities organised by Rara & Melissa who help us to meet some people when we travel alone ! I had an amazing time there and I was lucky to met great people !

It was a fantastic hostel experience for me. I met so many great people on my first day there and with such a diversity of cultures it was always exciting. The location is right on dirty 6th Str and couldn't be better. But what tops it all are the amazing pub crawls led by Rara. Every night out was sure to be an unforgetable experience with free drinks, great tables and without a moment wasted in a line.

The property is right in the downtown area close to bars and restaurants plus the hostel has its own bar behind a bookcase the staff were very helpful

The staff were incredible! Special mention to Rara who took us out on numerous bar crawls during my stay and made us all feel welcome. She was also a guest but had stayed at the hotel a few times

Great place, right in the heart of ATX. I met wonderful people there, especially Rara and Manny at the front desk! They have been super friendly and helpful! The room was ok, bathrooms were clean, the kitchen was a fun place to be. Cool. Also, there's a nice bar you can acces from the reception area which gives discount for hostel guests.
