Hotel Overview

Hotel Maximilian’s is a historic hotel located in the heart of Augsburg, a 10-minute walk from the Fuggerei Museum. It features elegant rooms and suites and a restaurant with show kitchen.
From 4 March 2024, our parking garage will only be accessible via Maximilianstraße due to construction measures in Katharinengasse.
The individually furnished rooms and suites at Hotel Maximilian’s are equipped with 4K UHD Smart TVs, complimentary Nespresso Coffee Makers, and minibar. They are furnished with traditional oil paintings, and some overlook the Maximilianstrasse Boulevard.
Unlimited high-speed glass fibre WiFi (up to 1000 MBit/sec) is available free of charge for guests throughout the hotel.
Regional dishes and a wide selection of wines can be enjoyed at the Michelin Star awarded restaurant, Sartory, restaurant Maximilian's . Guests can also relax at the bar.
The spa area offers a gym, various saunas and beauty treatments.

A fresh property located in the heart of the city, and an easy choice when visiting Augsburg for leisure or business. We had an overall positive experience. The breakfast was tasty, and select dishes of the Room Service menu were excellent. We will certainly return: especially if the below feedback is welcomed and addressed. - I recommend trying out their pre-arrival room upgrade offer, which few other hotels even try to offer, it worked just fine even if it came with 5 additional emails, and we did have a very nice room.

The bed was amazing, big and super comfy, also the bathroom, elegant and with a very good shower. The position of the hotel is perfect. I traveled with my dog and they provide a big cushion for her, a steel bowl for the water and they also gave me a pack with dog treats

Hotel Maximilian is the best hotel ever. We traveled a lot but this is the no 1 for us. I love everything here. The rooms are great, the bathrooms...large, clean. I feel like home. I remember one night we came from a long driving way, tired, it was cold outside, and after a few minutes we entered the room, a lady came and asked us if we needed more towels or water to drink. It was the maximum sign of care that we received from a hotel ever.

This is just such a beautiful hotel. Excellent rooms, the bed…oh wow, I was working on how I could smuggle it out. The bedding, the cleanliness (big thanks to housekeeping for this), the location-its just worth every cent.

this was our third stay at Maximilians. I adore everything about the hotel. The beds are so comfortable, the rooms clean and the staff always friendly. Unfortunately it looks like we won’t be back in Augsburg again, but recommend anyone who does visit Augsburg, to stay at Maximilians
