Built in 1865, the lovely Ponsonby Manor offers free Wi-Fi, a modern guest kitchen, comfortable rooms with a flat-screen TV. After a day of sightseeing you can relax in the guest lounge or enjoy outdoor sittings.
The Victorian manor is ideally located; 10 minutes drive from Auckland CBD, Spark Arena, Eden Park, Britomart Transport Centre, the Viaduct, Auckland Sky Tower and Auckland Domain. Auckland Airport is 30 minutes’ drive away. By foot, guests are 500 meters away from Ponsonby Central and over 50 eateries, bars and restaurants.

The Victorian décor includes a traditional stained glass door between the 2 rooms, a beautiful fireplace and heavy blackout drapes. Facilities include an en suite bathroom, tea/coffee making area with refrigerator, a 32-inch LCD TV, plus a table and chairs to enjoy the views of Ponsonby Road. Free unlimited WiFi is available in all rooms. Full cooking facilities are available in the extensively equipped main house shared kitchen/dining room and there is a cozy TV lounge for guests to relax in.

The penthouse is a quiet 2nd floor room that has French doors opening on to its own private large upstairs verandah, overlooking Auckland city, Skytower and the harbour. There is a luxurious queen-sized bed, en suite bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, refrigerator, 32 inch LCD TV, blackout drapes and a writing desk. Free unlimited WiFi is available in all rooms. Full cooking facilities are available in the extensively equipped main house shared kitchen/dining room and there is a cozy TV lounge for guests to relax in.

This lovely room has a king-sized bed or 2 single-sized beds. It also includes an en suite bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, a refrigerator and a 32-inch LCD TV. Black-out drapes and French doors opening to the outside garden decks are included. Free unlimited WiFi is available in all rooms. Full cooking facilities are available in the extensively equipped main house shared kitchen/dining room and there is a cozy TV lounge for guests to relax in.

This cottage has a colonial door, which opens onto a private deck that has table and chairs. A large room has a luxurious queen-sized bed and antique desk. There is a 32-inch LCD TV, tea/coffee making facilities, a medium sized refrigerator/freezer and a fully tiled en suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. Free unlimited WiFi is available in all rooms. Full cooking facilities are available in the extensively equipped main house shared kitchen/dining room and there is a cozy TV lounge for guests to relax in. Air-conditioning is provided.

This room has a queen-sized bed, en suite bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, a refrigerator, 32-inch LCD TV and blackout drapes. Free unlimited WiFi is provided. Guests have access to the main house shared kitchen/dining room, which has full cooking facilities as well as a cozy lounge that has a TV. Some rooms have amazing views to the harbour and others to the Waitakere Ranges. Most rooms have historic, original fireplaces, stained glass windows, antique writing desks and access to the front, upstairs, verandah.

There are both garden rooms and house rooms. The garden rooms have French doors opening onto the covered verandah with their own table and chairs to relax in the private garden. The house rooms have a view to the historic church next door. Each room has a queen-sized bed, en suite bathroom, 32-inch LCD TV and blackout drapes. Free unlimited WiFi is available in all rooms. Full cooking facilities are available in the extensively equipped main house shared kitchen/dining room including refrigerator space with milk, tea and coffee and there is a cozy TV lounge for guests to relax in.

This is the largest room in the house. There is a separate sitting area in the front window of the house, with Queen Anne wing chairs and footstools so you can relax and enjoy views along Ponsonby Road. Facilities include a luxurious queen-sized bed, en suite bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, a refrigerator and a 32-inch LCD TV. Free unlimited WiFi is available in all rooms. Clean! Comfy room and bed - I was up for a day long pilates exam so brought my own food - fully stocked kitchen so I could heat and dine. Great location with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance; second stay and will be back!
