Simon “Fantastic. Welcoming staff and great hospitality. 100% recommend!”
From the first time arriving there, the staff went out of their way to welcome you, even though they were extremely busy with lots of things happening at once. Its an old place and the resulting ambience is very nice. The room was clean as a whistle, and I had a very good nights sleep. (Which was one of the few good nights rest that week!) The room is stocked with everything you need including simple breakfast provisions. The decanter of port is unexpected and a very nice touch that make you feel at home! The meal provided in the hotel was delicious and well priced. Wait staff were great and you just had the feeling of being a welcomed guest. I'll certainly stay there again without hesitation.

The location of the hotel is convenient. The hotel building and the garden is lovely. Only one of the staff was friendly.

This was a budget stay that really delivered, the room was very comfortable and had an amazing hot shower. I was able to park my boat on the grounds at no extra cost or hassle. For a cheap stay this place was very comfortable and quiet, I usually stay at higher priced places but was pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay again.
