Hotel Overview

Only 1 km away from the Diedamskopf cable car in Au in the Bregenz Forest, Hotel Alpenrose features a free bicycle hire. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
All rooms and apartments offer mountain views and feature a flat-screen satellite TV and a bathroom with bathrobes and hairdryer. The modern, light-flooded apartments also have a kitchen with a dining area.

Lovely hotel - obviously a ski venue so very quiet in the summer but the staff were lovely and very helpful. There is essentailly zero grocery availability after about 7:30pm even with a car - unless you want to drive an hour - so worth bearing that in mind. The hotel keeps a fridge and shelf stocked with some food you can use to work around that problem - it isn't cheap but it *is* good quality; our children had pasta with some sort of pomodoro sauce courtesy of the in room cooking facilities. Breakfast was plentiful and really good including a nice selection of local cheeses (myself and my daughter are both cheese fiends so we really appreciated this).
