We were attracted to the hotel by its great location and period elegance. We liked the rooftop bar (and the staff there) and that the pool was reserved for adults only after 8.00pm.

Liked : management agreed to change our room the very same night we arrived due to a strong cigarette smell in our room. They provided us a bigger bedroom at no additional fee which we appreciated. Management upon day of leaving were incredibly polite and they had customer service skills worth mentioning. Family of 4. Hotel right next to the beach at a 5 min walk. Boardwalk is family friendly during day and evening. A few sit down restaurants on the boardwalk including restaurant Rainforest Cafe. Lots of fast food joints. All food good. Dunkin’ donuts amd a sandwich and pizza restaurant in hotel amd the pizza was really good. Dunkin’ open 24/7 so practical for a late night coffee or very early morning. Our hotel, The Claridge is attached to The Ballys and in really hot days u can walk through to the Ballys and straight on the Boardwalk without walking outside for 5 min.

We enjoyed our short stay here. The location is perfect, so close to the beach and boardwalk. Comfortable beds. Easy indoor access to Bally's casino.

All is old! Ballrooms and pool. Looks like it was the place to be in the sixties. Which is cool from a certain perspective. Rooms where spacious en the beds good and big too. We enjoyed ourselves.
