Very clean, cozy place and very closed to the university. Jim was very welcoming and has always treated me exceptionally, his house is lovely and he has put so much love and care on it. Highly recommended, I would definitely stay at Shelmalier house again

Rooms have been redone since those pictures were taken, the place is gorgeous, well sign posted, I arrived at night and couldn't have missed it, lovely big bathroom with Jacuzzi tub

Perfect for my 2 day business trip in Athlone. Plenty of parking space and it was so quiet! Jim, the owner, was really accommodating. I'll definitely be staying again.

Fantastic host, very quite area and close to Athlone Campus and only 12 mins to the town by car or 40 min good walk. Very helpful with information adn caring about details. Room is clean with all the main services

Easy property to find, 25 minute walk into town. I stayed in room 4. Upstairs in a lovely well maintained property. Better room than I had expected. Large and very nice shower room. Coffee making facilities in the room. Free parking on site off the road at front of property.
