Location is perfect - 25 minute walk to the centre and lots of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Staff were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. The room was big and comfortable.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful service by the front of house team (and good housekeeping too!). Free drinks and refreshments. Very clean and comfortable. In a good area for bars and restaurants although relatively out of the touristy centre (not necessarily a bad thing).

The hotel was easy to locate, and quite central and walkable, lots of lovely restaurants and the staff were incredible; welcoming and friendly and very generous!

A fabulous location in a slightly alternative gritty part of Athens (gritty in a creative sense). The hotel is deeply embedded in the community. You don’t feel so much like a tourist yet all the touristy things are so close by.

The receptionist was welcoming and nice, and they offered us free water. The size of the room was great, and the toilet and shower were clean.

Alter Athens exceeded our expectations. A lovely little hotel with really nice rooms. The staff were absolutely fabulous. There were nice restaurants etc in the neighborhood or a 30 mins walk to city centre or 5 mins (and about 6 euros) in a cab.

Didn’t have breakfast there but the staff was always ready and willing to serve us coffee and refreshments. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful.
