My son and myself were travelling through the area and made a late booking. Location is very close to the station with a plentiful selection of restaurants which we were happy with. The host was delightful. Mariko was a highlight of the stay. If you don’t want to feel warm and cared for go to a hotel.

The host family is warm and amazing. Even though they do not speak English, they are willing to communicate and talk with you. The room is cozy and clean; fortunately, we are staying in another building that is equipped with an elevator. There is a hot spring in the room as well! A light breakfast is included. Parking space must be reserved in advance; it is not in the building where we stay and takes a 2-minute walk from the accommodation.

Great hospitality and great value for money being so close to the station. We stayed in a Japanese style room - don't expect western style chairs, etc. The Japanese bath was very nice. We could store luggage at the reception, and a complementary light breakfast and snacks were also provided!

Host was extremely friendly; I was travelling with my son and we had great fun using google translator. Location was great. Room, although on the small side, was fine with a private bathroom. Small breakfast was provided and we were able to bring back food to have in the kitchen for dinner. We caught the beginning of the blossom season and Plum Park was an easy short train ride and walk. Also easy access to the bus to Mt Fuji lookout although we could only see the top of it due to cloud.

They have Onsen ♨️ available for the whole mansion, very surprising 👍 The staff was very welcoming, and introduced us to the surrounding attractions and various activities. We had a great time chatting there.

The owner was so friendly and helpful, we arrived a while before 4 and were allowed to store our bags before check in. The room itself was spotless and the futons were extremely comfortable - we were even given kimonos to wear at night. Excellent value for money, we were even given breakfast in the morning A wonderful place and a very authentic stay!
