The location is very nice, situated on Elephantines island in the nile and with an amazing view. The atmosphere in the guest house feels a bit more like a home than the classical hostel, which i found very comfortable and relaxing. It's quite small for a hostel, with only three rooms as far as i was aware of. Seko was very helpful and offering advice during the time i stayed there.

Seko Kato is a hidden gem on the very beautiful and quiet elephant island in the middle of aswan. Sitting on the rooftop of this very cute and cozy hostel one quickly forgets that it is in the heart of the city since the typical traffic noises and the dust from the streets dont get there. The view an the nile and the desert right behind it is amazing and the hostel is surrounded by nature. The prices are fair and the rooms and bathrooms are very clean and equipped with everything you need. The staff is nice and always there for you when you need something. The hostel also provides food and beverages for prices that match those of the stores, which is nice since it is quite a task to find one on Elephant island. All in all a very nice place to stay. :) I would recommend it to everyone who wants to escape the typical egyptian city for a night.
