Wonderful Nile front location on Elephant Island. Excellent local breakfast. Very simple so a bit pricey for what it was. Extra services, ie taxi transport very expensive. Very nice owner. A lot of cats which I liked,but some people might not. I definitely saw a flea in my room.

We loved everything about it. The nice friendly and helpful people who own it - Marta and Osama. They were very helpful to show us around the village and to prepare a breakfast box for early morning. We loved their cats and Kiki the dog. Osama, teaching us a few Nubian words. The beautiful building and the amazing view. The cozy room, spotless clean, including linen. Most comfortable bed during our trip to Egypt so far. And a bidet in the bathroom 😲 (thank you Marta). Overall a charming little place in a small Nubian village.

We relished our time at this charming guest house. We stayed in the studio for 5 days (really more than Aswan warrents) and loved it. Staying on the island, wandering the streets and pathways, spending evenings and mornings soaking up the view, and jumping in the Nile at the end of the day - pure majic. The guest house is a world away from the bussle of Aswan at the same time as Aswan is easy to get to (for anyone turned off by the 5 min walk to the guest house it is easy to grab a private water taxi).

Very friendly hosts that help you out with anything you need. They even made us breakfast at 4 a.m. when we went on an early tour. The island is an oasis of tranquility filled with the friendliest, most welcoming people you will ever meet.

Nile River scenery and very good wifi connection. The place is best for those who wish to detach from the noisy city. And with good wifi, I can imagine many visitors staying here and working from home. Good choice for stay in Aswan
