The absolute best thing about Abu’s guest house is Abu! He’s such a lovely and wonderful person and really does everything possible to make the most experience for his guests. Abu picked us up in his boat and gave us a little tour, and even picked acacia seeds to create a poultice for a rash our family member had.! he used to run a gym so it’s also an experienced trainer and Masseur. We loved our breakfast and dinner is on the rooftop. It’s also lovely to stay on the island and enjoy the chill atmosphere.

Great location on an island. The accommodation was clean and spacious. Very nice host Abu. Nevertheless, we were very late he was there in the middle of the night to give us a boat ride to the guesthouse and offer some water, juice and fruits. He arranged also a morning boat for us. In the afternoon when we were back from the day trip there was a lunch waiting for us with everything we agreed on the day before. We already had our day trips organized prior to arrival, but I would absolutely trust him to organize activities around Aswan.

Abu was a wonderful host, he offered pick up and drop off to Aswan He also offered a tasty dinner and some tips to visit Aswan I highly recommend!

Great stay in Abu Guesthouse in elephantine island.Very easy transfer from Aswan (2 minutes by boat, boats every 5 minutes). Simple but very nice and clean rooms. Abu is a great guest. He organized many tours for us (Abu Simbel, feluca sailing, visit to Nubian island, transfer to Luxor) at very good prices. Also breakfast and dinner (upon request) were both very nice. I would definitely recommend this place for someone who is looking for genuine hospitality in Egypt.
