Convenient for M1 / A57 junction, plenty of parking and EV charging was a bonus. Nice rural setting and traditional building. Bathroom had good hot water supply.

The evening dinner was superb, from the first course too dessert. I didn't have breakfast as I didn't feel well through the night ( nothing to do with the food or any other thing to do with the hotel ) and I decieded that I needed to sleep rather than having breakfast.. :-)

This hotel was a perfect location for us, it's easy access to M1. The staff were extremely friendly. The food in the bar was very good. I had a standard double room, ground floor, it was warm & comfortable. Breakfast was also very good.

Room was large, clean and comfortable with a large bed. Quality of food, drink and service. Staff are excellent. They put me in the same room I've stayed in before which is a nice touch and one of many small things which shows how attentive to detail the staff are. It all adds up to "feeling at home" and having a good over all experience. There is a free electric car charger.
