Please note that the entrance is located on Dostyk Street, on the right from TezTour. On the 1st floor dial 199 on the intercom next to "VipHouse Astana" sign. Use the elevator to get to the 37th floor.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

The view from the window of 38th floor. But remember it's not easy to get to the hotel area as you need to climb up a floor with your luggage without any help from hotel staff. Hotel reception is at the 38th floor so you need to reach by yourself. And no support from hotel staff for water and tissues.

Breakfast was good. But they should have better options for packing breakfast. One day we had to take a early morning tour but they could not provide packed breakfast.

It has been by 4th time staying in the VIP house. It is clean and comfortable. One cannot beet the location and amazing city views from the 38th floor.

AN OVERALL RATING AND DESCRIPTION: The hotel is not really a hotel per se, it is a a giant apartment building where one floow is turned into a hotel. They send instructions on how to find it with photos - do not ignore those, you might have trouble finding it without it. There is no elevator to the 1st floor - you must walk up a flight of stairs, then you can take the elevator. You would not be able to get through the first door without talking to the person there - this is not a reception desk to the hotel but someone watching the entrance to the apartment part of the building. Once you have your keys, you have a magnetic key to the door, but when you first arrive, beware of this obstruction, especially when you do not speak Kazakh or Russian, they do not speak English. Neither do the people at the front desk of the hotel, but we always figured everything out. The room itself was ok. It is a bit unfortunate that you need to eat the breakfast in your room but my room did not really have a table that would be good for eating breakfast. Bathroom is ok, bed is somewhat comfortable. It was too warm for me so I had to leave the window open (38th floor), which led to noise (the constant honking) from the street, so I was not very well rested. The breakfast is VERY simple. If you order taxi through the hotel, you will not be able to get an invoice.

Central location with shopping malls and restaurants. From my window, i can see Nur Astana Mosque. Not sure if there is any room can see Nurzhol Boulevard side. The window is huge, spanning across the whole wall. Feel the breeze in the later summer night... There is also a bath which I used during my two nights' stay. Bathroom is quite spacious, same as the room with a comfortable double bed. They even provide you bath-robe... check the wardrobe... Clean and modern-ish decoration. There is a mirror light above the bathroom sink mirror. Nice touch to someone like me, as not every hotel has that. They also let you pick a time, and bring breakfast to your room. Free drinking water near reception.

Excellent location in the middle of the city, very convenient for getting around. The view from the room was fabulous, especially the night view. The breakfast, which was delivered to the room, was delicious, and the staff were kind.
