“Superb”
23 Sep 2024
Great communication before arrival with Jo the host who along with her husband Bernie made us so welcome. The accommodation is perfect, clean, spacious and everything we needed for our short break. A lovely welcome hamper was left in our room with delicious bacon, eggs, bread, yogurts, croissants, milk, cereals, tea and coffee. The bed was so comfy so a good night sleep wasn't a problem. Askrigg is a beautiful little village with 3 pubs who all serve lovely food. There is also a small local shop and a cafe/deli. Perfect location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. We highly recommend the property and the location.

“Anniversary get away.”
19 Sep 2024
Great location, literally 20 seconds walk to the pub. Jo(host) was very friendly and chatty. Plenty of knowledge of where to go and what to do. Met her dogs who were massively up for fusses. Room was a little small but we only used it as a base,so was more than adequate. Beautiful views. Breakfast items (croissants, weetabix, orange juice, yoghurt were very welcomely received. Was our wedding anniversary, Jo left us a bottle of wine and a card, which we thought was a lovely touch. The bed was very comfortable.
