The room was clean and the beds were comfortable - blackout curtains exceptional! The room (318) has an extremely loud a/c and at times would go up a level in noise. It did make it difficult to fall asleep (husband had ear plugs and I stuck a finger in my ear). I didn’t mention this to reception as every hotel we have stayed at since arriving in the US (4) have had very loud air conditioning units so we figured this is just what people put up with here. This was the loudest though. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, but the menu looked good.

Downtown Asheville is perfect. I spent time walking around downtown, and had dinner in the restaurants.

Breakfast was Excellent! Great job by the Chef & his team. Location of hotel was perfect. Great hotel staff. Lisa and Mitchell were very helpful. Angie, The Manager, was terrific. We had some small issues which she handled immediately! Very receptive and concerned.

The two at reception when we checked in were great. The lady, Angie, gave my daughter a bear stuffed toy (which she took with her everywhere on her travels and now lives in London). The man there too gave lots of great local advice. Breakfast was exceptional and the room was clean
