Very good value for money. Stayed in the family room which was just right for what we needed. Nice pub and good breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area

Breakfast was delicious - set up the whole family for the day. The addition of hot chocolate to the tea and coffee in the room was very much appreciated by our children after a long drive

Perfect location as we were visiting Alton Towers. Came up with friends and all booked room for 5. It was perfect! Everything was catered for. We ate in the hotel in the evening ( definitely need to book) and had a delicious breakfast. All was super-thank you!

We arrived at the royal oak, staff was straight away very polite, and there to help. They got us booked in -even upgraded our room to a king size suite for free , showed us to the room and let us settle in. Bed comfy to sit and lounge but felt slightly hard to sleep (nothing like ur own bed though) but definatly not a bad point. It was still comfy enough. The only down fall I would say as we retired to bed we popped the tv for a short while the distance of the tv to the bed and the size of the tv it was difficult to watch but we managed. But the room it self was amazing , clean and tidy extra pillows in the wardrobe, complimentary hot choc, coffee, kettle and hair dryer in the room , clean towels- great pressured showers. Moving on to the food WOW! 👌 The food is amazing we arrived on burger night -Thursday , burger( wide variety) and chips and pint/drink £13 , can't get better than that. The staffs service was brilliant so welcoming and polite couldnt do more for you. Our stay also included breakfast in the morning, I have to say was one of the nicest breakfast iv ate out for in a long time . Hats off to you royal oak, your stay was great, thank you , we will definatly recommend and come back . P.s plenty of outdoor seating and spacious carpark
