Lucy and Neema were so welcoming, friendly and funny. It really felt like we left as friends. It's located in a nice quiet place, with a lovely garden with all kinds of seating options. And there is a well-stocked fridge with beers and sodas And breakfast was great with fresh fruits and your choice of eggs, veggie sandwhich, pancakes or all! And only a short ride to the city center.

The staff were very friendly and even the environment was good. My son liked Sama - the dog very much as he was able to pet him and share his snacks with him too😊

This place was absolutely incredible. The staff! Oh my gosh they absolutely made this place. They were the kindest, funniest and most helpful people. Massive shout out to my two new Tanzanian sisters Lucy and Neema! My dad and I stayed here after our Kilimanjaro hike and it was the most perfect place to relax in the garden on the day beds and couches. Neema and Lucy went above and beyond organising a haircut for dad, Neema giving us a massage to help our sore muscles after the hike, Lucy taking me to her tailor to help me get some clothes made and Neema coming into town with me to help me choose fabric. The beds were super comfortable and rooms had plenty of space. Food was awesome. Great brekky and the dinner was delicious too. I would stay here 100 times over. Probably my favourite ever place in all the places I’ve ever been. Thank you thank you thank you!

The staff of Villa Poa was very nice and extremely helpful! When we had a problem with a taxi driver one of the Mamas assisted immediately and the problem was soon solved. The Breakfast was very tasty and freshly prepared. Overall it was a great stay!

The view of Mount meru from our balcony was breathtaking😍 Lucy was so friendly and welcoming. The food was a 10. The rates are affordable.

The garden is incredibly lush. There are trees, grass and a couple of floating beds where you can nap or chill. There is also a fire pitch and staff usually lights up a fire at night. The town is easily reachable (15 minutes by dalla dalla, a cramped bus that costs 500 shilling per person). The staff was really welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was great! A bowl of fruit or fresh juice, then 2 eggs your way with 2 toasts and a pancake (that you could fill with peanut butter and jam), sometimes a slice of avocado. It gets you ready to start the day.
