Garden Cottage is an amazing place to stay while in Arugam bay! The staff is very friendly and helps you with anything you need. The beds are big and very comfy and rooms are spacious. My friend and I stayed here for a month and it became our home away from home! Would come back anytime and really recommend it :)

Couldn’t recommend a hostel more, we stayed for 3 nights and were met by the most lovely owners. They were so attentive, booking our transfer to the airport with no issues as well as upgrading our room for no extra charge when we first arrived. It’s always nice to help support such a good local business, they also let us check out much later so that we could organise our bags and have a shower before our transfer to the airport. Rooms are spacious and have AC, and there’s always someone in reception who’s more than willing to help with any requests.

We had the best stay here!! Planned on staying for 2 nights but extended to 6 nights because it was so good! The aircon was amazing and the mattress was soooo comfortable! Hot shower was a treat too! Awesome location in the midst of the main point area. Highly recommend!

Great location, super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms had comfy beds and AC, and they offered room service. They serve food too at the restaurant at front, it's pretty good and not expensive.
