Great hotel at Arthur's Pass. The room was fairly new and very clean. Our room was by the main road but we didn't mind as there was a net curtain that prevented people from seeing anything if they looked our way. We were only there for 1 night for the Coast to Coast event and had a good night's sleep before our run.

Amazing location opposite the store (although bring food as barely anything there, just expensive necessities), and 5 mins from the train station walking. All the walks were pretty much on our doorstep. The room was perfect and clean, except the bowls in the cupboard weren’t fully clean, but it was spacious and comfortable

We arrived slightly after reception hours but informed the host, Tash, ahead of time, and she waited till we reached. As its a lodge with a shared common space and kitchen, we were surprised when we learnt we were the only ones checked-in for the night! Great and clean facilities on-site, the rooms were modern and cosy, and the lodge was conveniently located opposite the only store and petrol station in the village.

This was a stopover on the Alpine Express, it was handy to the train station and restaurants, the lady had been in prior and had the heaters on so it was lovely and warm

Room had a well-equipped kitchen with stove, pots, pans, utensils, and a fridge. This was helpful since there weren't many dinner options nearby. The room was quiet for sleeping, despite being located on the roadside.
