Away from town and in the rural scenic region. Location was a great base for access to hiking trails, towns, highway and other adventure activity hubs. The beautiful look and care of the land and building was evident. The queen studio apartment itself was spacious and equipped. Bed was comfortable and the duvet was warm for the colder nights. Bathroom was massive. No oven, but host was kind enough to lend us a plug-in mini-oven. Great assortment of cutlery, plates, pots etc. If anything additional was needed, host was easy to accommodate. Mountainous scenery with sheep, rabbits and singing birds - flawless. Clean laundry room. Fresh towels given several times throughout stay. Stargazing on clearer nights - big positive. Host was non-intrusive, welcoming, responsive and helpful.

Lovely peaceful location. Very close to Queenstown too. I travelled with my parents and they found the accommodation very comfortable and warm. They loved the blankets on the bed, and also appreciated the heated floor and heater in the bathroom! The kitchen had very clean equipment, utensils and supplies.

The property was the cleanest accomodation I think I’ve ever stayed at. We had everything we needed for our four day stay - all the bits and pieces in the kitchen meant we could prepare food for us and our toddler easily. The grassed area outside our door was perfect for our toddler to run around and play on. She had a fantastic time waving to the sheep and watching them in the paddock.
