We wanted a quiet farm location and it didn't disappoint. Lovely hosts and a pool with a country view.

Spotless clean and very comfortable. We were the only guests and had the space and the swimming pool just for ourselves. The breakfast was nice with fresh and warm bread every morning. The nice owner, who told us about the history of the place and showed us some antique things of past times. The place is surrounded by nature and animals, and it was wonderful relaxing.

It was a wonderful visit to Casas de Faia. The location and setting and the quality of the accommodation is amazing. Duarte and his family were incredibly kind and wonderful hosts. There is a beautiful pool to cool off in the heat and you are surrounded by wildlife on the farm and greeted by two lovely dogs. Breakfast was lovely and a really well arranged. A superb stay. Lovely guesthouse on an old farm surrounded by beautiful Alentejo nature and farm animals but still close to Portalegre. Very spacious, stylishly decorated and clean apartment in an old atmospheric farm building! It was nice to find the breakfast already waiting in the room except for the bread that was delivered fresh in the morning. The owners and other guests were very friendly and our dog was also well received!
