The accommodation is situated at a great spot wit quiet and beautiful views. It was neat and clean. We went for an experience and got everything we thought we would.

We LOVED our way too short visit to Arniston Cottage. The accommodation is basic - if you're looking for luxury there are other options. If you want lived experience, it's wonderful. Doreen was so welcoming and friendly, she put us at ease immediately. The beds were clean and comfortable and the kitchen provisions were suitable to our needs. We had a fire in the outdoor braai area each evening and spent lovely quality family time together. We only heard 'I'm bored' once, when the teens realised there was no WiFi. I loved it. I got to see their faces and play card games and chat. We walked out to the Waenhuiskrans Cave which was very exciting and over the hill to the other side there's a glorious swimming spot, and the two local cafes/restaurants give you eating out options depending on how local you want to go. There's also the Spa Hotel a 2-minute walk away, with great meal options and very friendly and accommodating staff. We couldn't be happier with our stay.

The cottage is spacious and was clean and neat upon arrival. Loved the traditional building style. Beautiful kitchen and awesome views from the braai area. The caretakers were friendly and helpful. We felt safe in our surroundings and the locals were very friendly and showed us the best spots for fishing (for next time) and where to eat. The cottage is ideally situated, very close to the beach and walking distance to the harbor. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!
