The fine print
In accordance with Colombian tax legislation, foreign citizens and non-resident Colombian citizens who receive the PIP3, PIP5, PIP6, PIP10, TP7, TP11 stamp or the TP12 visa upon entry into the country will be exempt from paying tax on 19% VAT. The exemption will only apply in case of booking tourist packages (accommodation plus service). The corresponding permit must be presented upon arrival.
