Free parking is available right outside the hotel. There are coffee machines in the corridor, and vending machines and an ice machine are located downstairs. The location is convenient, within walking distance to the East Church Falls metro station. However, it can be quite dark at night, so caution is advised, and walking alone is not recommended

The Lodge was very close to a Metro station. It was also in a place good for physical/walking and running exercises.

There wasn’t breakfast! It was advertised but the receptionist said none is served anymore. I understand why you don’t serve it but we missed it.

Despite the decor being tired, it was clean and tidy. Our room was cleaned, bed made on alternative days but our towels were replaced daily. We were a family of four we had two queen size beds the size of the room was just right for us. The location is perfect for us The Metro was only about 10 mins walk away and easy to get into downtown Washington DC. Selection of food for breakfast was limited but enough for us, however the seating area was on the smaller side, at busy times you will have to wait for a table. There are a few restaurants nearby but were on the pricey end. If you want a cheap supermarket you will have to adventure further and catch a local bus to Aldi, bus stop just outside of the hotel. The receptionist was helpful but her English is limited, a younger man working lates was really helpful and was able to replace the iron. Our room had a fridge, microwave and TV. lobby level there is a coffee, tea, hot chocolate station and ice machine on all floors. Bonus is the laundry room was able to wash clothes and dry on the same evening, you will need change (quarters), I had my own washing liquid. Overall for the price, location and breakfast included I will definitely come and stay again.

Perfect location to explore Washington. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to the East Falls Church metro station, either 10 minutes walking or 3 minutes by bus. Room was nice, could have been a bit bigger but for the price I am content.
