The fine print
Children under 04 years of age may stay free of charge in existing beds, however their breakfast is not included. Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18% .To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee. Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation. Guests who book at the property and indicate that it is only one person and then add more people to the room will have extra charges added to the price of the reservation for extra people.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. The hotel's location is very convenient, about a 15-minute walk from the main square and other attractions. The room is comfortable and spacious, but the bathroom is small.

Beautiful room in a good location with a great view of volcanoes from the outside deck and breakfast restaurant. Lovely staff, delicious breakfast, huge comfortable bed.

Rooms are spacious and well kept. Beds are very comfortable. Central location can become a disadvantage in case there is some activity in town. They were very kind to move us to a quieter room for a particularly noisy night at no extra cost. Very grateful for that.

My stay at Hotel Fundador was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like I was their most important guest. The attention to detail was remarkable, from the warm welcome to the personal touches that made my stay so special.I was offered an early check-in at no extra charge, which was incredibly helpful after my journey. Additionally, they prepared a breakfast package for me to take with me on the day of my departure, showing genuine care for my comfort.The hotel facilities were flawless, and my room was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. Every corner of the hotel exudes a sense of luxury and tranquility.Overall, it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations, and I will definitely return in the future. We have really enjoyed our stay in Arequipa. The staff in the hotel was extremely helpfull, breakfast was very nice, the room has really big and comfortable bed.
