A wonderful old building with a fascinating history, set around a beautiful green courtyard. A warm welcome, extremely helpful hosts, comfortable beds and the only accommodation we've found in Peru to offer a kettle and tea in the room. Perfect.

The hotel has fantastic character and is a quiet respite from the very busy streets. The rooms have a dramatic feel but are very comfortable. The breakfast was both very good and plentiful.

What a charming bedroom! It was 200 years old but renovated and had modern facilities and a garden. The bedrooms were comfortable, and we had lots of space for ourselves and our bags. There was still a mezzanine with another bedroom that we did not use. We would have to depart early the next day, but they prepared food bags we could use while travelling. However, we still miss the opportunity of having another good breakfast in their meal area. We also left our dirty clothes to be washed and dried in their laundry service, which was fast, not so expensive, and efficient. The localization in the city was superb, and we will definitely go back to Arequipa and Casona Solar one day.

It’s old world charm in the city. A hacienda like set up. Plenty of space to open cases, wonder around the room and quiet at night to sleep. The staff are beyond sweet and helpful, all lovely lovely people. We actually left for a few days then came back because we felt so at home.

The room was reasonably spacious, although I expected it to be slightly larger. The hotel is stunning, and its location is ideal—just a 5-minute walk from the main square, making it perfect for exploring Arequipa. Unfortunately, we only got to enjoy the excellent breakfast once due to early departures on the other mornings. However, the incredibly friendly staff kindly prepared takeaway options for us.

Large authentic bedroom, beautiful place with courtyards. Breakfast at the hotel was good buffet and egg service). Staff really kind and helpful. 5-10 minutes walking distance from the Plaza.

The room was great, the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location and offers a beautiful courtyard to relax in. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious.

Perfect location near all the main attractions! It was quaint and beautiful. Our room was very spacious with high vaulted ceilings and a skylight. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Beautiful hotel in quiet area of the city. Easy walk to main square. Comfortable beds and very clean. Breakfast was good and staff very helpful when sorting out our early arrival (at 6am) and early departure on our trip to the Colca Canyon (3am)!
