Aude “Superb”
The location is great and the view stunning. We could enjoy it from the balcony of our rooms and from the terrace at the front of the house. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast they prepare is a real feast with delicious homemade dishes, from fresh eggs and pastries, to toasties and cakes. It is a very nice walk from Nefeles to the centre of Arachova.

This place was like the perfect mix of a welcoming family home and a sweet little guesthouse. Our hosts (who have lived there for many years) were absolutely charming – so hospitable, friendly and helpful. We even met a few members of the extended family, who were also lovely. Our room was perfectly cosy and clean, and the location was a refreshing walk away from the centre of town – close enough to walk within 15 minutes, but far enough to be away from all the noise of tourists and cars etc. The view across the mountain side from our attic room was spectacular. We did have some trouble finding the place on Day 1, but once we learned where to turn off the main road from the village, it was easy enough. (Walking directions: if you're heading out of the town centre, follow the main road towards Delphi. You'll pass the hotel Ef Zin (the sign says Εύ Ζήν in Greek) on your right. About 20 metres further along, on the left-hand side pavement, there is a lift/elevator and some steps which both go down to the street below. Go down, and you'll find yourself facing a small sort of informal car parking lot. The road to Nefeles is just ahead of you, on the right. From this point, you should be able to follow Google Maps. It's about a 10 minute walk, mostly flat or downhill. When you reach some tennis courts on your right, you're very close!)
