The staff on reception (shout out to Yusef) and in the restaurant for breakfast were so friendly and helpful, with recommendations for things to do or dinner and happy to chat about Jordanian life in general. As there were so few guests during our stay breakfast was presented as a buffet at our table. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The location was perfect for us, it was close to Aqaba Fort and just outside the busy markets area so lots going on but still quiet enough that we weren't disturbed at night. The room we had was large, with its own kitchenette and seating area and the bed was large and comfortable. We went to Wadi Rum for 2 nights during our trip and the hotel kept the bulk of our luggage in their storeroom while we were away so we only needed to take the essentials with us and when we returned (early) from Wadi Rum they gave us an early check in for the 2nd part of our stay with them. Our stay was during Ramadan, and some people we talked to at home also said the war in Gaza had put them off going, but there is no reason not to go to Jordan (and stay at the Taj Hotel when visiting Aqaba) - we found the people and the country wonderful.

Hotel room was similar to 5 star very spacious apartment for price of 1 room and staff was very helpful And they let us keep our luggage into store after checkout Best service ever we received

I liked everything. Only nice and helpful people work there. There was some misunderstanding with our booking so we got free upgrade of our room, which was realy amazing. Very good breakfast with omletes that were freshly made. Near the hotel there is a lot of safe space to park the car.

Staff is positively cheerful and amazing. The stay was comfortable, and the value was great. I would like to personally thank mohammad, the receptionist and the other guy who, unfortunately, i was unable to remember his name and the staff.
