The property was lovely, all the facilities were clean, the view from the rooms and pool were amazing, great variety and quality of food at breakfast. Staff were really friendly, helpful and attentive. One of the best diving experiences I’ve ever had- the coral reefs were incredible. Wonderful massage from Wedad in the hotel spa. Hotel arranged all our taxis-Make sure to leave 20 minutes for a taxi to the centre to arrive. It was a dry hotel but they are happy for you to bring in alcohol bought from outside.

We had a wonderful time at Luxotel in Aqaba. The hotel was really modern, beautiful (both the common indoor and outdoor areas, and the rooms) and well decorated, with much attention to detail. Staff in the different areas of the hotel were really friendly, attentive and responsive. We also really enjoyed the hotel breakfast and the restaurant area, as well as the pool, jacuzzi and private beach. The coral reef at the hotel’s beach is also wonderful and really convenient for some hours of snorkeling. The only downside was that the diving center staff was a bit pushy in advertising the scuba diving option and they quickly ran out of snorkeling equipment. We also tried the spa (both the complimentary sauna entrance and a hammam treatment), which was nice but not really worth the cost for us. The hotel was advertised as a hotel for adults but we did see a few children around. These were minor cons but overall we loved our stay at the hotel.
