The fine print
Bistro 1871 is open from 11:00 until 14:00 and 18:30 until 21:00 daily.Access to the Garden Spa is not included in the room rate.Please note that there is a smart casual dress code when fine dining at the hotels 2 AA Rosette Restaurant. Shorts, trainers or men's sandals are not permitted. Alternatively, the Bistro 1871 offers a much more relaxed and informal style of dining.Please note that our Lounge will be closed for refurbishment from 18th January to 4th February. All other public areas will be available as usual

We had the garden suite so it was lovely for us to all be together. The suite was so warm and cosy. The food was lovely and so was the service. We enjoyed the use of the spar also. All the staff were friendly.

Hotel surrounded by beautiful countryside. Hotel has lots of wonderful history, very warming feel to it. Grand staircase and lovely rooms.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and polite, also the staff in the spa and massage 💆♀️ were very helpful and welcoming. The room was very nice but the bathroom didn't seem to have a extraction fan. All things considered it was a lovely stay. D Smith.

Location stunning. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. The food amazing. Breakfast exceptional the scrambled eggs amazing. The steak and food in the bistro was delicious 😋

Staff were friendly and always helpfull . Breakfast was good with multiple choices . I enjoyed the spa facilities the whole place has a relaxing atmosphere . The lounge was a nice quiet retreat to read and contemplate . Will definetly re visit in the new year for a quick getaway .

Spacious comfortable bedroom, Lovely spa, not too busy, drinks very reasonably priced, lovely festive feel with all the lovely decorations. We both enjoyed our meals.

staff were lovely, food was as expected ie good choice and well cooked. Room was a decent size, large enough to accomodate my mobility scooter!. Didn't try the Spa so can't comment.
