Inns Overview

@Aonang, Comfy beds & Great showers, has hosted travelers from all over the world since 2006. We provide clean, quiet and comfortable rooms in local-village settings. We have 6 private rooms and 2 dorm rooms that come with comfort. 10 steps away is the townwide famous 'Ton Ma Yom' restaurant. We try our best to welcome all the guests by ourselves and give them the assistance they need. We also offer tours at competitive prices.
We are located 15-20 minute walk away from the beach, in Leela Valley, away from the main road's noise and craziness. Here we are surrounded by a nice neighborhood, with locally built houses, very little traffic, a few cute dogs and friendly neighbors. We are also lucky to have one of the best Thai restaurants in town located next door. Ton Ma Yom restaurant, great Thai food. We have the famous limestone cliffs and the green hills around us in the valley. Small heaven in Ao Nang.
Getting to the beach is not difficult. Minibus running on the main street will take you to the beach at 20-30 Baht/pax while tuk tuk will cost 50Baht/pax. You can also enjoy a walk to the beach.
Couples and families love our private room because of its privacy and quiet and peaceful environment. Solo travelers love our comfortable dorm rooms, the common room, and the plunge jacuzzi pool. Moreover, they love the people in this neighborhood. The same reason we love it here, nice and smiling people.
Please communicate your expected arrival time with the guesthouse as the reception is open at limited hours.

Boutique style property,in a quiet street near all the local bars beaches. Couldn’t hear a thing at night.Comfortable bed !! Extremely clean,beautifully decorated large room and superb rain shower. Will definitely return. Tin and CC thank you 🙏

I had an incredible experience staying at Aonang Guesthouse Hostel, and a big part of that was thanks to Tin. He is one of the friendliest and most helpful hosts I’ve ever met! From the moment I arrived, Tin went out of his way to make sure I felt welcome and had everything I needed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and goes the extra mile to make their stay memorable. The hostel itself is clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The dorm beds are comfortable, with privacy curtains, convenient lockers, and charging points. The air conditioning in the rooms was fantastic, especially after a hot day exploring Ao Nang. The location is quiet and peaceful, 1.5km from the beach. Excellent restaurant nearby: Ton Ma Yom, Scooter rental (2 min walk) 250/300 a day. Seven-Eleven (5 min walk). A Muay Thai boxing gym is in front of the hostel. It’s also easy to arrange tours and transportation to nearby islands or airports from a tour kiosk nearby. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay in Ao Nang, I can’t recommend Aonang Guesthouse Hostel enough. The high ratings are well deserved. Tin and his wife truly make it feel like home. I’ll return on my next visit!

“A perfect hostel experience”

This was my first experience of a hostel and I was very impressed. The guesthouse house was impeccably clean and the facilities were great. The only place I stayed in Thailand with a filtered drinking water tap to refill bottles. The beds were super comfy and the set up in the dorms was great with plenty of secure storage and privacy. I was in an 8 bedded dorm that had 2 bathrooms en suite so plenty of provision and no queuing/waiting. Tin - the owner was super friendly and welcoming and helpful - arranging trips and transfers and helping with local places to eat and visit and other recommendations

The staff were so lovely and helpful. Spotless hostel, great beds and only 20ish minutes to walk into the centre centre of Ao Nang. Thai restaurant next door is 10/10.
