Mohamed is very friendly, is a good cook and recommend the best places which you can visit. Location is also very central and nearby the main road.

We spent here 2 nights,.. all was fine,.. typical sri lanka standard,.. super nice and helpful owner took care of us,.. do not expect anything fancy, but you will get all you will need,. fun was working, for small fee you can use also AC,.. super quiet location close to everything needed,.. go to cinema, it was fun too,.. few monkeys visited us as well,..

The owner and staff were super nice and friendly, willing to give you a tour of the temples and sites. Home cooked meals were very good. Rooms clean and comfy.

Mohammed takes great pride in his homestay and staying here felt like staying with family. With years of experience in tourism and excellent English, he’s very committed to helping people have great holidays in SL. He’s a very involved host, if you’re looking for help with your trip. He picked me up from the bus station, drove me round some hidden gems in Minhtale, arranged a knowledgeable tuktuk driver for the A’pura temples, and taught me a Sri Lankan card game! The room was great value, even though I was 1 person in a 3 person room. The bathroom was huge and the bed so comfy. Even though the location is very central in the new town, it’s super quiet at night - just the sounds of the frogs singing. :)

We had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. The host, Mohammed, was extremely kind and helpful from the very beginning. When we arrived he wasn’t available so he send his brother for picking us up for free. Additionally, since we had to leave early, Mohammed prepared a delicious takeaway breakfast for us, which was a much appreciated gesture. The price is fair and in line with the quality of the service and facilities. Many thanks for hosting us, Mohammed, it has been a true pleasure.
