The best food in sri lanka! This was our first night . We had amazing home cooked food which I can now say was the best! Lovely people. definately return!

The owners are friendly and helpful. They took care of everything. Mapa took me to the temples in Anuradhapura, Mihintale, and Wilpattu National Park. The room is nicely decorated and has all the comforts you need.

We had a great stay here, the room was clean and big, the people are very friendly (they speak English very well) and the food was amazing! If you want to visit anything they can arrange it for you and if you want a lot of information about the temples and Buddhism, the brother of the person running this place, can tell you a lot.

We were so sad to leave here after 3 nights as it felt like we were leaving family. Mapa and Katchi are amazing hosts! What a happy welcome with Mapa's genuine smile. We had a little difficulty finding the correct street (in the dark) to the homestay and Mapa kept in phone contact and led us 'home'. Our room was upstairs with an outside seating area. We had breakfast and dinner there each day. The home cooked meals were absolutely delicious! Our Christmas dinner was our favorite! There was much space available inside the room and bathroom. We enjoyed A/C in the evening. We booked both a Anuradhapura Sacred city tour (a great experience) and a full day Wilpattu national park experience through Mapa (such an amazing experience). Staying here is a wonderful way to support a local family! Like: Mapa communicated with us to ensure we knew how to find homestay - he met us outside his home with a huge smile; clean; quiet - able to hear nature; room has table and chair plus an additional chair; towel/clothes rack; dinner served on balcony outside of room - balcony has table and chairs; family owned; small hotel - 4 rooms; bottled water easily available; saw parakeets and hornbill in the yard; room and bathroom are spacious; booked Anuradhapura Sacred city tour through hotel: a great experience; also booked full day Wilpattu national park experience through hotel: very satisfied; wonderful home cooked food

Such an amazing place to stay, the owners are making you feel like home and do anything for you, for me this is the best home stay I stayed in whole Sri Lanka! Outstanding food, all home made for breakfast and dinner. The rooms are super clean, with AC, very new, lots of space with hot shower, outdoor patio and in a very quiet area. They arrange all trips for you and even pick you up from the bus stop, also if you need transport, with their own car or ask a friend to take you.

We stayed at Ceylonima homestay and this was really the best we could ask for. Mapa and his wife are so so friendly and welcoming and willing to help with everything. We also did a whole day tour with Mapa and I would really recommend to do the same. He made our stay in Sri Lanka very memorable!

I absolutely loved staying here. I felt so comfortable and received such a warm welcome from Mapa. He is also really nice to spend time with and talk to. He is kind, funny and has the best smile 😃 Kanchi is also so nice and she prepares delicious food which gives you a really good taste of the authentic dishes. The rooms are very hygienic and nice and I really enjoyed the tour by Mapa’s brother around Anuradhapura. It was my favorite experience this month in Sri Lanka. He takes all the time and organizes such a fun and informative day. Totally recommend staying here!

Mapa and Kanchi are the most kind hearted people you'll meet and will do anything to give you an amazing stay. Beautiful room, very clean and nice balcony with views on the squirrels. Mapa provided us with such good tips for our travels and Kanchi made the best dinner and breakfast we've had in Sri Lanka. 100% recommend to visit!!

Lovely people they helped us when we broke down with our tuktuk just 1 minute away🫣🛺! The food is amazing and they also arranged a ride to our next destination!! We will definitely be back❤️ just a feel at home feeling far away! 🙏🏽🥳
