Quiet location , near to town and to nice walks along by the nearby lake. All the staff were excellent and very attentive- the hotel arranged a transfer from the airport for us and booked us a guide and 2 tuk tuks to help us explore the temples and ruins which we thought were beautiful. The breakfast and food was excellent and the rooms comfortable and high spec.. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting this fascinating area

The staff at Aryana were friendly and attentive. They genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. Breakfast and dinner were delicious (strongly recommend the red rice with fish curry). Day trips were arranged without any difficulty.

A lovely boutique hotel with 8 rooms set around a lovely pool and a covered outdoor restaurant. The whole place is furnished to a very high standard and the manager and staff are really helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely - the bed was large and very comfortable, the shower was excellent with plenty of hot water, and it was spotlessly clean. Having a fridge was a bonus and the WiFi was excellent during our stay. All of the food was delicious and the set menu changed each night - you were often spoiled for choice. We paid a little more than we would normally pay, but we felt that we got great value for money. Highly recommended.

Friendly manager gave us a free upgrade and allowed us to share a set dinne (we're small eaters) which were very much appreciated. Very private and peaceful boutique hotel that suits us perfectly.

Had a great stay at the hotel. Both manager and staff were friendly, helpful and provided great service. Both the breakfast and dinner were really good. The room was clean and well tended, but this is Sri Lanka so you're bound to find a couple of geckos in there :) Will repeat when I return to Sri Lanka.

Great breakfast, friendly and very helpful staff, lovely swimming pool. The whole Aryana team couldn't do enough for us, very helpful in organising tours of the sacred city, Wilpattu national park and Mihintale. Highly recommended.
